About Farm Ed

Farm Ed, established in 2019, is a private organisation dedicated to providing QQI validated, quality assured education and training programmes to the agricultural sector. The centre offers programmes that lead to the QQI Agriculture 5M20454 and the QQI Farming 6S20487 awards i.e., The Green Cert.

Programmes at Farm Ed are delivered by professionally qualified tutors who have many years of practice in their chosen area of expertise. Skills demonstration development and assessment activity is supported by state-of-the-art on-farm facilities and resources.

Programmes are scheduled on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.

The Farm Ed Quality Framework

The Farm Ed Quality Assurance system, approved by QQI*, defines the framework of policies and procedures within which the centre’s FET** programmes are delivered and assessed. The centre is committed to the rigorous, evidence-based implementation of all its quality assurance processes, to ensure learner expectations are met and programme objectives and standards are achieved.
